The ocean was sacred to Jimmy. He was most at peace when he was in or near the water. For many years he was an avid surfer. His love for the ocean introduced him to his career. During the past twelve years Jimmy was assistant marina manager at the San Francisco Yacht Marina. Jimmy's co-workers are working on creating a memorial to him at the yacht marina. This will forever be a connection between a man -- whose heart like the ocean was deeper than we will ever know -- and the many benefactors of his love.
Jimmy was a proud defender of our country and a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, spending four years in the Persian Gulf as a member of the U.S. Navy.
Jimmy was a born athlete and excelled at all sports growing up. He had a love for boxing and was a "Golden Gloves" champion in Reno, NV. He graduated from Carson City High School.
Jimmy was born in Santa Clara, CA. He grew up in Southern Oregon and Carson City, where he graduated from high school.
He is survived by his father Bob Wells and mother Diana Jamison, sisters; Cathy, Brittany, Rebecca, Jeanie, and brother Justin and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
